birthday countdown - book advent

​in just 7 days, our little bird is going to be 2 ​!!!  how in the world did that happen?  to help count down these last few days until her birthday, i decided to start a new tradition.  each year, on the 20th of february, we will begin a book advent.  each morning, she gets a new book to enjoy for the day, for 7 days until the morning of her birthday celebration on february 27th.  today was our first book opening, a "doc sooz" book (dr. suess) as channing calls it - mr. brown can moo.  it was a hit.  i think she is excited to open her next book tomorrow!
